Has anyone tried online prep class for CSET?
I forgot the website... wonder it helps..
I'm trying to study (today's the first day..) on my own, and I've been out from college for 20years... so worried..
I'm thinking of preparing for subtest II first.
From a person who does not have much knowledge in math&Sci area
what study materials do you prefer? I don't know what test look like, so please let me know how I should begin my studies.
I'm overwhelmed already, but I want to give it a try now...
Thanks!

Welcome to A to Z, eng123.
Let me recommend starting with the materials on the CSET Web site:
First, start with the free online official preparation resources. Go to the Test Guides link - you'll find it on the left side of the CSET home page under "Preparation Information"; on the page that results, scroll down till you see "Multiple Subjects" and click that. This brings up a page with various documents that explain the test structure, recite the subject matter requirements, describe each of the three subtests, and provide sample questions from each (including answers).
Second, there's a full practice test - it's the first link on the left under "Preparation Information" that's representative of what you'll see and how the test will work.
How far did you get in math and science in high school? in college?

Thanks for your response..!
I studied upto stat. & math for elem teachers, Intro. to Science courses, but that's been sooo long ago.. I haven't checked out CSET website, and I will solve those problems tomorrow.
And... I meant there was a prep site for CSET online where you have to pay some amount and there're instructors online, I suppose.
I wonder if that would reduce my studying time...

Getting some help with the content can be a very good thing, eng123; a wide variety of means by which to do that exist, and you're a new member of one of them.
For your basic skills, have you passed CBEST, or are you opting for the CSET-MS/CSET-Writing option, or what?

Oh, sorry, I've been caught with other things for a couple of weeks. I need to prepare for CSET & don't know how to start.
I took CBEST a long time ago and passed, but I'm so afraid of CSET. Will you tell me how to start preparing for Math/Science section? Is it hard?
