I have worked 4 out of the past 5 days. The day I didn't work, I passed up at least two jobs. One was HS Spanish and the other HS math. So far today, I have past up five jobs for tomorrow. Four jobs came up about an hour ago and all were gone in about five seconds.

http://web.nmusd.us/cms/page_view?d=...=1222629286587 here is the size of my district. It's not small, but it's not big either. It's more elementary schools than anything else.

D-mn, the only thing I hate is how everyone is like a jackal on the jobs (right now), so I don't even really look at it (the job). Everytime I try to read it, it's gone by time I click Accept.

I just accepted a 1/2 day for tomorrow, when I would hope that I could land a full day job (being a Friday). I suppose beggars can't be choosers in this case, but I still don't like doing that.

I can't stand not being able to read the job. You've absolutely no time to determine whether or not you actually want to work in that classroom, because if you take an extra second to read the description, another sub will snatch it up. Argh. I can't wait til October when more jobs are posted.

I'm running C4C and a service that sends a text message to my cell phone. It is called Wasubi. I don't have a smartphone or I would use the mobile version of Jobulator.

I have now worked six out of the last seven school days, and have been selective of the jobs I have accepted. I have done 4th through 9th grade, with four English and two science in three different school districts.

Can I ask you something... because I'm using a trial version this month, and will have to decide whether to renew...

I already feel like it's paid for itself, since I got a few jobs already that I wouldn't have otherwise. But when jobs pick up, is it still the case where jobs up-and-poof! immediately? I'm specifically interested in elementary school assignments, which tend to be the most sought after in this district. Is it always a case of click-before-reading?
