Please
use discretion when posting, especially when discussing situations at school,
students, and/or parents. It is best not to use names or information that might
identify you and/or anyone involved. If you provide personal information to
other members via the public forum or private message system, it is at your
own risk.
Personal information, such as your email address, will not be sold or shared.
However, in respect unlawful online activities of any visitor, we reserve the
right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in
the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message, submission,
or action by you. All actions on the site are indentified by an IP address
accessible by forum administrators.
Usernames. We recommend choosing a username that doesn't
include your full name. You may contact
us if you'd like to change your
username. You may not have more than one username.
Political Discussions. These types of discussions are prohibited. We have found that these discussions negatively impact the supportive atmosphere here at A to Z that helps us all become better teachers.
New signups that start political discussions will be banned, so please do
not waste your time signing up if that is the only reason you are here.
No Self-Promotion/Advertising/Solicitation. Please do not
post any messages anywhere on this site that are primarily for the promotion
or
advertising
of
any website,
forums, email address, business, MLM, activity, or other entities that you
have an affiliation with (ie. no self-promotion). You may also not invite members
to contact you via private message or email. These types of posts will be
removed from the forum, and offenders will be banned.
If you have any
questions, please contact
us.
There is one exception to this policy. Members who wish to advertise or promote a service may do so in the designated forum for a small fee. You can read more about it here.
Links Policy. We don't mind hearing about members' personal websites
or blogs, HOWEVER, please build up your credibility and show us you are here
to share with us
before you start posting links.
New members do not have privileges to post links or use a signature right away. Each attempt to post a link by new members is recorded by the forum.
If you try to circumvent the forum's system for blocking links, you may be immediately banned from using the forum, without notice.
In a short time, you will have access to posting links.
Even after you are able to post links, please note it is not appropriate
to include your link or announce it in multiple posts throughout the forum.
Supportive Atmosphere.
The purpose of this forum is to provide encouragement,
advice, support, enjoyment, and [insert positive word here]! It is a safe and
friendly environment in which to share. The expectation is that visitors to
the forums will be both professional and respectful. We won't always agree on
everything, but it is expected that any disagreements stick to the issue and
not attack anyone personally. Personal attacks may be removed from
the forum and repeat offenders may be banned. If you don't have
something nice to say,
don't say it!
