Hey everyone. I received an email today for a new job position in the district where I live. I will not let this offer down! The position is a substitute/parapro for the kindergarten at a small elementary school. This is a great way for me to earn public school experience and to get my foot in the door once student teaching and filling out job applications comes into play! I also started teaching with a new ESL company. I was so concerned about working from home full time but this as needed position is what I need! I just want to share

Is it a job offer or a job you can apply for? Either way, congratulations!

You make the best of the new job and put yourself first. Don’t take time away from your new position to help your parents. They’re on their own from now on. And don’t let your mother interfere with your new job in ANY way or guilt trip you into feeling bad for not helping her.

    Good luck to you!

I'm honestly relieved for you. No matter what happens, do NOT go back to your parents' place/school!
