You’ve given me much to think about and watch! Love it.
I've been working on fixing up our house, running with my dog, and going to watch soccer, baseball, and the Blues win the Stanley Cup!

Take many day trips and read on average about 30 books per summer.
I’m teaching at a math camp for about 5 weeks. It is only in the mornings from 8-12 and they pay well. I think it’ll be a nice change.
Way different than a normal summer. Won't be able to go to the classroom at all (demolishing current school; have to be out by 1pm on the last day next week!), which will be a first, and have a child on the way...
So basically - outside of the obvious relaxation, hiking, reading, and such...lots of preparation for the child and for the six-week paternity leave! Hopefully will get the math competition tests written this summer (otherwise I might not be able to do it this year), too.
Do you normally go in over the summer? We are allowed but I am not planning to! Students are dismissed at 10am and we are allowed to leave at 10:40. I plan on leaving right on time. I spent all of my preps this week packing up everything in my room so that is all set
Well, I've been planning to visit Europe in late July, Are there any solo travelers interested in being a travel buddy? I'm a traveler looking to do more trips and looking for a travel buddy. Already posted on these forums https://travelsites.com/travel-forums/
Let me know if anyone there is bored or have plans in July to visit Europe, Happy to join the team.
Raining outside, just took this killer 3 hour nap, got up to a large cup of Oreo ice cream and now on to some baseball and movies. Oh, I'm not worthy!
I'm a solo traveler going to the U.K. mid-July. This will be my first solo trip out of country (I'm Canadian and have traveled solo to both coasts over the past couple of years.) I'm a bit nervous, but very, very excited!
As far as travel buddies go, I recently connected with a teacher I taught with about 10 years ago and we are talking about traveling together next summer.
Have you been to Germany or Spain before? How long are you gonna stay in the UK? and what places you have planned to visit?
Hahaha! Sounds divine. Enjoy!
I, myself, went and saw Aladdin today and it was spectacular. Then, I treated myself to a delicious sushi dinner at a local restaurant and it was so, so good. I even bought the most expensive sushi rolls because YOLO.
And no rain here, just unrelenting sun; luckily, I stay inside most days, but I wish it were cool enough to ride my Segway (at full speed) around the nearby park. Sigh. Lol!
Okay, you have me hooked. Please tell us why they are demolishing the school. What happened?!
And congratulations on the new addition to your family.
I teach ESY to the mod/severe special day class students. Its only half day and much less prep than the regular year though so its still like a vacation. I take naps in the afternoons, read, read, and read some more, which I struggle to have time for during year because I work so much and when I get home I'm too beat. I also have a tendency to work here and there on stuff that I putt off during the school year because I didnt have time to set it up.

Just saw Aquaman. 5 stars across the board!
Saw it a while ago — agreed!
Got to wait 3 1/2 years for the sequel. Arrgghh.....
I’ll be almost 31. Ugh!!!
Where in the UK are you planning to go? That's my home country, I'd be willing to give you tips and places to visit! What is on your itinerary there?
It's my first time there and I'm doing an organized bus tour. 2 days/nights in London, then a whirlwind--Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dublin, then back to London. I won't have much time anywhere, but it will give me a taste of where to go back and spend more time.
I may actually complete my dream of decluttering the house. Yesterday I turned the scary crawl space under the stairs into a dollhouse room for the kids and the garage looks almost approachable.
