Sounds to me like a college assignment...

I heard on the news this morning that there are several lawsuits and quite a bit of heat in Cali regarading standardized testing Spanish speakers in English only. That might be a good one.

    JaimeMarie and Irishdave...

Thanks for sticking up for me!! (LOL) I'm subbing for a science teacher. It's grades 3, 4, and 5. It's not too bad. She left me plans for 3rd and 4th so I'm just planning for grade 5th.

Do you have them all at once or one at a time? Grade five is really fun. Third and Fourth can be fun too if they are behaving. :D

I have them at different times. I have five fifth grade classes and I meet with each class once a week. There's 4 fourth grade classes and one 4/5 special ed. I meet with the fourth graders and the special ed. classses twice a week. I have 6 third grade classes and I meet with some of 3 of them twice a week. The other 3 third grade classes the lower grade science teacher meets with a second time. Finally, there's 2 second grade classes and I meet with them once a week. The lower grade science teacher provides me with these plans. It's a full schedule but some classes are fun others I can't wait to leave(LOL).
