    When my students hang at the door, I won't let them leave when the bell rings until EVERYONE is seated.

    I would suggests that as a sub, don't complain to the school about things (unless they're hazards, not in the best interests of children). Just do your job, a good job and go home.
    Maybe they have a shortage of subs where you are, but no one at any schools I worked at would want a sub around who complains about everything.

    Since the principal is already standing outside, go ahead and point to the students who are misbehaving and have him/her take them away
