I recently was nominated by a school, the position was offered to me after an interview. Though I did not say for sure I wanted to take the job. After the interview I recieved a email for a nomination. I followed all 4 required steps. DOE fingerprinting, DOI background Check on Application Gateway. After several weeks my online nomination status was finally complete. Though, there was no follow up email of what to do next, it has now been 2 weeks since completion. I spoke with a family friend -payroll secretary at a public school and she had said "I should get a email with my File Number/ EIS." Is this accurate?

Each district will have something different- it isn't standard across all districts.

If you haven't received the email, it should be okay to call HR and get the official word on what you need to do or wait for. Make sure they have a correct email address on file.

    Good luck!

Yes. I will be contacting HR. Thank you. Do you suppose bc I didn't take the job that nominated me, could have anything to do with me not receiving further info. Is the school that nominates you suppose to follow up with the next steps after the online nomination is completed?
