Hi. I would like your opinion for a particular situation.
    Testing Accommodations
I understand that there is probably an obvious answer to this situation. However, I am caught in the middle between two sides of a decision.
On 3 of 4 of my fourth graders IEP's, as a testing accommodations, I am required to provide "Test Read". However, the fourth student has a lower reading level and needs more attention during instruction. So, I am wondering if I could read the assessments (tests/quizzes) to all four fourth graders. This would facilitate tests/quizzes for my fourth graders.
Note: The fourth student does not necessarily need "Test Read". He does, however, have his assigned books read to him/1:1 during independent reading time.
I would like to hear other teacher's thoughts on this matter.

If the fourth student needs the accommodation and you have the documentation, write an amendment to add that accommodation to the fourth student's IEP. I assume you are talking about reading aloud assessments that aren't measuring reading skills.

Yes, the assessment does not measure reading skills. Thanks for the suggestion.
Tomorrow, I will talk to the special education coordinator and the student's parents.

Now that I think about it, what was the purpose of me posting this thread?
