    Okay... I've taken the RICA twice...

    My breakdown is as follows: 217 - Felt like I didn't do well.
    Domain 1: ++++
    Domain 2: ++
    Domain 3: ++
    Domain 4: ++
    Domain 5: +++
    Case Study ++ - describing instructional strategies

    My breakdown is as follows: 217 - Felt like I kicked butt!
    Domain 1: ++++
    Domain 2: ++

    Case Study ++ - describing instructional strategies

    Admittedly I didn't study too hard the first time... the second time I focused almost ALL of my study time on learning strategies and working on bettering my case study...

    And I see that study or not... same score... and the 2nd time I felt REALLY good.

    Today I take it for the 3rd time... which is insanely embarrassing, and I'm psyching myself out. This is IT for me. I lost my current teaching position because I didn't pass and won't be able to teach on a short term permit as it's a 1 year option.

    By the time I am able to take and get results a 4th time (if I don't pass this time) we'll be a week before next school year begins and likely all jobs have been filled. So... this test is it if I want to teach next year and I am FREAKING out... the weight of the stress is clouding my ability to focus and I'm afraid I've already done myself in. I don't pass this, I lose all I've worked for over the last 2 years---time, money, etc...

    What can I do? Tips?

    Well... by the grace of the Pearson Gods I managed to pass the RICA... I did WORSE on the case study than ever, but better on the multiple choice and that apparently did it for me. Thank goodness!
