Hi everyone being moved to 4th grade. Great news is I will have some of my same students from last year. I will be teaching two classes of math, history, and part of ELA other teacher will be teaching the rest. Any advice? :anyone:

No advice, but I am doing something similar. My position loops back and forth between third and fourth every year, but this is the first time I'll loop to fourth. I did two years of third in a row - one where I took over another teacher's second/third loop in their third grade year, and then I started with my own third grade loop this last year. I'll go to fourth with them this year, and then I'll go back down to third and start over with a new third/fourth loop of kids next year. I also teach two classes. I teach reading to my own homeroom, and I teach math and science to my own homeroom and my partner teacher's class. Have you departmentalized before?
