First I am very excited about my new school and new position. My new school is very 21st century, it is up to me how I would like my classroom set up, desk, no desk, a combination. All my students will have chrome books, also a first never had 1 to 1 computers in my class. I met with the principal last week to due a tour of the school and she had mention, that there is very little whole group teaching that takes place, everything is done in small groups and then students work on their projects. I am having a hard time processing what this looks, because its the end of the year and my current principal wouldn't let me take a day I am unable to see this in action. I'm the type that needs to see this in action, or at least get some more information on this.

    My questions are
    - what do small group lessons look like when your students are doing project base learning?
    - I have googled some project based lessons, and noticed that they can last weeks, how long do I allow them to work on these projects a during a day?

Could someone send an example of your lesson plan, class schedule for project based learning?
