Goodness gracious!!!! Suddenly (well not suddenly really) it seems as though we have a bunch of kids with the option of taking weapons to school. I don't think I ever would have even thought of that as an option (I'm obviously not the type if I'm teaching now but anyway). Why all the sudden is it an okay option to take violence on other students to vent anger?!?!?!?

I just bought my son a 12 gauge for his skeet shooting competition. The only difference is that we have the shells and the skeet in our possession and he can't go to the gun range without us.

I worry about this all the time. It really hits home. My stepson is home schooled and one of his mother's primary reasons was that he got picked on too much in school. He seems to be the least violent person I know, but everyone gets pushed too far. I would never buy him a gun for fear of an accident, much less buy him multiple weapons!
