Are there any foreign language teachers on this site? I am student teaching in middle school Spanish, and looking for ideas and resources.

I teach Spanish PreK-8 in D.C. If you have a specific topic or question, I'd be glad to help!

:) I'm almost a Spanish teacher. I'll be student teaching in the fall, but I've got lots of ideas!

    weno88,

What grade will you be teaching? How wonderful you have all summer to ensure you are prepared!
    Best of luck!

    Thanks!
It will be high school, but I don't know where or what level yet. They don't let us know until the week before school starts!

^^Sounds similar to me. I'll be student teaching high school spanish next spring. I'm SO excited, but I'm a little anxious, because I'm not a native speaker. But I have a trip to mexico and another semester of upper division spanish classes between now and then.

Hey! You're from Texas, too! Which part?

I did a LTS earlier this year for Spanish for six weeks. I used to be a Spanish major before getting into ECE. I still plan on finishing the Spanish degree, though. Anyway...you could try Bingo in Spanish, Simon Says, or Hangman. Those are always good ways to get in vocabulary. What level Spanish are you talking about? Does this middle school have only Spanish 1? The LTS spot I did was Spanish 2.
