Just received my CSET 3 result and I did not pass it. The result says that both of the constructed responses are left blank. Unfortunately, this is not true. I scanned both of the responses and clearly remember seeing them on the screen. I cleared my CSET 1 and 2 in one try and had no problem scanning responses. I am positive it’s an error on their end. Anyone experienced this kind of error before? What are my options?

Hugs, Divya10. This is quite rare, but not entirely unheard of: one other A to Z member that I know of reported a similar issue with constructed responses going astray. It was some years ago, and I cannot recall the member's name or the details of the case, though I believe it was resolved to his satisfaction.

Your best course of action is probably to find Pearson's contact information on the ctcexams.nesinc.com website. Be polite but firm; be prepared with your test taker ID or account number, as well as the date, time, and location of your test appointment; don't neglect to point out that you did see your scans onscreen; and you might pull together some notes about the questions and your responses, especially if you can come up with any details that might distinguish your responses from someone else's.

Thank you so much for your response. This give me some hope. I have called them and told them what happened and the way they responded sounded like it's not new for them. They asked me to wait for two days while they investigate on it and check with the particular site. Keeping my fingers crossed.

While you wait, Divya10, here's a hug, in whatever form best works for you.
