On the CBEST Registration Policies webpage, under the heading "Retake", is this paragraph:

    • If you took the CBEST on computer, you must wait 45 calendar days from the test date before retaking the same section(s) on computer, even if you did not attempt or complete all sections for which you were registered, though you may retake the CBEST at an earlier paper-based administration.

So, while the scores are interchangeable, for purposes of scheduling it seems that the paper-based and computer-based versions of CBEST are treated as separate tests. I'll add that, even if they weren't, you could register right now, and I'm fairly certain that the system software simply won't allow you to choose a test date for which you're not eligible. (And you'll find with computer-based tests that registration (that is, selecting and paying for one's test) is a separate matter from scheduling a test date and time: you'll select CBEST Reading and pay the $41 CBEST test fee (well, plus the CBEST computer supplement) on ctcexams.nesinc.com as usual, but instead of immediately picking a test date you'll be instructed to wait for an email with an authorization code, and when that email arrives it will also contain a link to the PearsonVUE website on which you'll pick a date, time, and test center location.

As far as I know, districts generally don’t care about CBEST scores so long as you pass.

I’m sure TeacherGroupie or some other veteran AtoZ member could probably give you a more in-depth analysis of your scores if you need it.

With an aggregate score of 171, mardog2020, your average score per section is about 57. That's certainly respectable. But the score verification card that you'll get with your score report will say only that you passed CBEST, not by how much.
