    Advice on men's messenger bags?

I hope this is the right thread to post on. Anyway, the only bag I had was a laptop carrier bag that was stolen from my car. The joke's on them since it was empty (although I had to repair a window). I do want to look professional, so I trust the women on this site more than myself when it comes to fashion. Does anyone have recommendations on quality (yet not $500 quality) messenger bags for men? Any advice is appreciated since I know I'll have plenty of work to take to and from school.

There are probably many other threads on this. I think it's a yearly summer thread! :)

Thanks! I found a nice quality leather messenger bag on Amazon and got free shipping and $3 off with the little I had left on an old gift card. I have been spending so much on teaching related objects lately but luckily I don't plan on moving into an apartment and having the extra expense of rent for a few more months. :p

Can we see the bag you chose? I'm thinking about buying a new one and interested in what other people are using.

A teacher I worked with a few years ago had one of those. Where can they be purchased?

    TIA

You can buy them at any office supply store, like Staples or Office Depot or Office Max. I think you can probably also purchase them on teacher supply websites.

I always get my teacher bags at Target. They've got a nice selection of totes that work perfectly for carrying laptops, books, papers, etc!

Love my Vera Bradley bag that I use (but it was a gift!!). So cute and surprisingly strong.

I purchased a case similar to that one (it is made from some sort of thick, water resistant fabric) from Michael's Craft Store.

I like it because it has a top that zips shut. We get a lot of rain here, so it keeps my items dry when I go between school and the car. The top also keeps the contents (like tests) confidential.

I found it in the scrap booking section.

I love mine. I've broken at least 2 as I've over-loaded it taking things to a PD or rolling it down a step.

I also love my rolling laptop bag.
