Written by on October 15, 2009, 03:11 PM
For those of you wondering where Norm Coleman would turn up after leaving the Senate, we've found him. The former Minnesota Republican senator who lost his exhausting and drawn out reelection bid to Al Franken (D) is joining the Republican Jewish Coalition.
Coleman will sit on the coalition's board of director's, according a statement from the group. "We are thrilled to have Norm Coleman join the board," said Matthew Brooks, the group's executive director. "He is an outstanding Republican leader who brings a wealth of experience and insight to the organization." Coleman was the only Jewish Republican in the Senate. Currently, there is only one Jewish Republican in either chamber, House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.). Jeremy P. Jacobs is the staff writer at Politics.
